About Us
Twin Creek Brothers LLC was founded in 2009 in Kamiah, Idaho. We are located along the Lewis Clark Byway Highway 12 in North Central Idaho in a hunter's paradise, surrounded by moose, elk, white tail deer, black bear, cougars, and wild turkeys. Hunting in this area is something I have enjoyed doing with my family for more than 30 years.
I came up with this product after years of frustration of hunting and not being able to quickly access my wind detector bottle. It was always tucked away in a pocket that would seem to become lost at the moment I needed it, or it would get left behind on a rock somewhere after I checked the wind while I pursued the Elk or Buck I was after. Two years ago I started putting together the neoprene holder and perfecting the way it was attached to my hunting clothes. My family and I have used it in the field for the last two years and made little changes along the way to the product we are presenting to you today.
I have never had a problem finding my little bottle of wind detector since. It stays put, is unobtrusive, and is always where you left it. Searching your pockets to find out which one you left it in is a thing of the past. I no longer have to remove my gloves to get in my pocket after it nor do I have to remove my Bow Release. This has been all about convenience for me and bringing that convenience to other hunters is something I am proud to say I have done.
My other passion is helping to improve Elk habitat and our local economy. Our products are manufactured locally in Kamiah, Idaho and feature several small businesses that have helped our products come to the market and to you.
Elk habitat is being eroded and food supply is becoming scarce. There are larger numbers of predatory animals now as well. Elk and deer populations were once world renowned in Idaho; at that time Idaho boasted the largest elk herds in the United States. They are now one of the smallest and the numbers have been getting drastically smaller every year. By purchasing our products you can help improve Elk habitat and ensure that we can continue to hunt for that elusive trophy or simply provide food for our families. A portion of the proceeds will be donated for Elk habitat and predator control programs. Lack of habitat and growing wolf populations are the greatest threats to our elk herds. Helping them to have better foraging land will help keep them strong and give them a boost to help them survive.
